Second, the point made in the link above about comparing today’s politicans to the Founders reminds me of This special from the Discovery Channel which included a survey in which Ronald Reagan was named the “Greatest American” in history. George Washington came in 4th and Thomas Jefferson came in 12th.
Now I am a fan of The Gipper myself, but the idea that he outranks the likes of Washington and Jefferson in terms of greatness — whatever that means — is just absurd.
