Kellie leaves this morning for two weeks of training for the new job, meaning that I’ll be back in a situation I haven’t been in since before our wedding — living on my own. Its funny, because I lived on my own for the better part of the past 15 years and was pretty much used to it. In the five months we’ve been married and the six-or-so months that Kellie has been living here, though, I’ve realized what I was missing and it will be tough going back to the old ways, even temporarily.
Its not all bad, though. I’ve got the dog to take care of now and he’s likely to keep me grounded and focused.

2 weeks? Try 5 years! Weird I know, but I’ve been married since 2000 and we’re still doing the long-distance thing. I only see my hubby on the weekends (and holidays), and it Totally Sucks!
