Via Vodkapundit comes this story about new developments in the increasing cooperation between the United States and India.

This is significant for two reasons. First, India would prove a powerful counterweight to China’s increasing influence in Asia. Second, they would be a strong ally in the war on terror. India has been a victim of Muslim terrorism originating from Pakistan for decades.

Even more important though, it is appropriate that the world’s oldest democracy and the world’s largest democracy work together.
