Well What Do You Know

On Saturday, the NY Yankees acquired pitcher Al Leiter from the Florida Marlins. Leiter is a good pitcher but inconsistent sometimes, so I was unsure how this was going to work out. The results of yesterday’s game against the Red Sox give me reasons for optimism. Most importantly, the Yankees are now only 1/2 game behind the Red Sox in the AL East and tied with the Twins for the top spot in the AL Wild Card race.
