Well, for the most part, the first day of just Riley and I went pretty well. I got home later last night than I planned thanks to a side trip to Petco to pick up pet food but the little guy did pretty well while I was gone. The walks last night and this morning went well, but he doesn’t do any better in the heat we’re having right now than I do. I’m sure he appreciates being in an air-conditioned kitchen all day while I’m gone. Right now, he’s on the floor chewing on the edge of a cardboard box…..one of his favorite pastimes.
