Well, it may be that the funk that has been hanging over the New York Yankees all season has finally come to an end. Last night, they beat Texas 11-10 in a wild game and are now in the lead in the AL East. Granted, its only a 1/2 game lead but its a start.
Meanwhile, the Washington Nationals lost their ninth game in 12 tries. They are still in first place in the NL East but only by a half-game. I wonder if the Cinderalla-story that is the Washington Nationls is coming to an end.
