Thursday Afternoon Dog Report

by @ 12:45 pm on July 21, 2005. Filed under Personal, Tales Of The Dog

Riley and I did not have a good night last night. Mostly, it was because I was incredibly tired and he was incredibly playful. I tried playing with him after dinner but, as puppy’s often do, he had alot more energy than I did and wasn’t content to just sit and relax. He was also a little bite-y last night and I was getting frustrated. Kellie really does do an amazing job with him.

All in all, I’d say that our first week alone together went pretty well. I hated like heck the fact that he was alone in the house for so long for so many days but he didn’t really seem to mind it that much and was happy to see me when I got home last night. Hopefully, the little guy doesn’t hate me for getting mad at him.

Kellie comes home this afternoon. I won’t be there to see it happen, but I’m sure Riley will just go nuts.

Update @ 2:40pm: Apparently I’m not the only own dealing with the responsibilities of dog ownership. Heh.
