Friday Morning Through The Haze

by @ 8:17 am on July 22, 2005.

Not quite sure why, but I’m having a really hard time getting going this morning. Between me having to pick up my car from the local Honda dealership and her coming home from Pennsylvania, Kellie and I didn’t end up getting home until nearly 8pm last night. Needless to say, Riley was out of control when he saw us. This morning, we walked him over the vet’s office where he will be spending the weekend after getting neutered later today. Hopefully, all will go well. It is weird being in the house without the little guy around, though.

This will most likely be my last blog post until sometime on Sunday. Kellie and I are going out of town on a family camping adventure at Bear Run Campground in Portersville, Pennsylvania. The occasion is the “Gathering of the Clan”, also known as a family reunion on my Mom’s side of the family. It should be a fun, if incredibly rustic, weekend.

In the meantime, this recipe sounds really, really good right about now.
