Life Tenure vs. Liberty ?

John Fund has a thought provoking article in the Wall Street Journal calling for term limits on Supreme Court Justices. I think he has a point. As I’ve said before, I think there is something wrong with life tenure for Supreme Court Justices when it means that someone appointed 30 years ago is still on the bench and deciding cases. I don’t know if this idea will ever go anywhere, but its worth considering.
