The Washington Nationals have been the Cinderella story of the baseball season this year. Up until last night, they were in first place in the NL East but they’ve been on a downward slide since before the All-Star Break and are currently in the middle of a series with their closest competitor, the Atlanta Braves. As this story indicates, the end may be near for this great story.
I hope not. I hope the Nationals can turn it around and stay in the playoff hunt. It would be great for the team and would prove all of the naysayers of baseball in Washington, D.C. wrong. So, yes, this Yankee fan is saying Go Nats !.
