I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

I’ve long been convinced that the best thing that’s happened to the Republican Party in years is the selection of Howard Dean as Chairman of the DNC. This story only reinforces that opinion.

[Dean] also said the president was partly responsible for a recent Supreme Court decision involving eminent domain.

“The president and his right-wing Supreme Court think it is ‘okay’ to have the government take your house if they feel like putting a hotel where your house is,” Dean said

Only one problem with that argument Governor, President Bush didn’t appoint anyone to the Supreme Court until two weeks ago and every single dissenter in the Kelo v. New London case was appointed by a Republican.

From the GOP’s point of view, this is almost as good as the Iowa scream.
