The Bear And The Dragon

Virtually nobody is talking about this, and you certainly won’t hear much about from the mainstream media, but Russia and China will be conducting joint military exercises next week.

The question is, why ?

Over at Vodkapundit, Stephen Green believes that the only thing that could possibly be uniting these two nations is their opposition to the United States. I don’t consider myself a geopolitical expert by any means, but I think he’s got it about right. I can only hope that this is being watched closely by the powers that be.

And this doesn’t make me feel any better about the situation.
