I dropped Raymond off at the airport this morning and made it into work about 20 minutes late, not too bad considering that traffic that I’ve encountered in the past trying to get to Dulles Airport in the morning.
We had a great time yesterday walking around the National Mall and the Tidal Basin in downtown D.C. I hadn’t been to either the Lincoln Memorial or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in at least 10 years so it was nice to see both of those again. The most interesting part of the day for me, though, was at the beginning when we discovered Albert Einstein Memorial which is located at the offices of the National Academy of Sciences. Its always cool to discover something new in your hometown.
I’m not sure what work is going to be like today. The server is still not fully operational and will probably be down after noon today.
