I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Buckeye Blogging: Texas 25 Ohio State 22

by @ 1:57 pm on September 11, 2005. Filed under College Sports, Ohio State Buckeyes

It was a bitter pill to swallow. With less than three minutes remaining, the Texas Longhorns came from behind to take the lead for the first time since the 1st Quarter and ended up beating the Ohio State Buckeyes 25-22. It was a great game from beginning to end, but sad to see the way the Buckeyes sort of collapsed at the end……and that missed 50 yard field goal didn’t make things any better.

And it didn’t take long for the gloating to begin either. My buddy Raymond wrote his victory post 20 minutes after the game ended. That’s fine Texas, you can gloat now…….but wait until next year when the Buckeyes come to Austin.

In other games, the news was not all bad in Buckeye-land as the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame sent Michigan down to defeat at home. A Buckeye win would have been very nice, but a Wolverine loss is almost as good.
