I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Maybe Next Year

Given how the season went it was somewhat improbable that the Yankees would even make it into the playoffs this year. They fell behind early in the AL East, first to the Orioles and then to the Red Sox, before finally winning the division on the last weekend of the season. They were plagued all season with pitching problems and silent bats. And now its caught up with them.

The Angels beat the Yankees this evening 5-3, winning the Division Series 3 games to 2. Now, they head to Chicago to face the White Sox. I don’t have a dog in the fight anymore, but I’ll be silently rooting for the White Sox if only because its time for their curse to be reversed.

Update: The whole recap of this sad game is right here.
