For someone who had nothing planned for the past couple days, I certainly have found alot to do. Suffice it say its been a busy weekend.
On Friday, Kellie and I spent the afternoon running around taking care of yet more shopping and basically just enjoying the free time that we haven’t had in quite awhile. Ending the day with Friday night’s dinner was the end to a perfect day.
Yesterday, we got in the care and drove into northern and western Loudoun County and ended up visiting two new wineries and found something we liked at both. Lost Creek Winery and Hidden Brook Winery are literally right next door to each other, so its not surprising that their wines would have similar tastes. We ended up bringing home four bottles of wine which I’m sure we’ll enjoy on some cold winter night yet to come. We made our way home by way of Old Town Leesburg, which we had yet to explore together, and even stopped at the Jared in Tysons Corner where I had purchased Kellie’s engagement ring so she could have it cleaned and polished.
As for today, we were up early at the Farmer’s Market and, now I need a rest.
