Kellie and I spent ours driving around Northern Virginia, in the new Pilot of course, looking for new bedding. Yeah, I know, not the the most exciting way to spend a weekend but such are the joys of domesticity. We finally managed to find something we liked and picked up today. Unless, of course, we get it all on the bed and decide we hate it…….
Last night, we ordered Chinese delivery and watched two movies. The first was Christmas With The Kranks which is the movie adaptation of John Grisham’s book Skipping Christmas, a short little book that both Kellie and I enjoyed, which also happens to be the first Christmas gift that Kellie gave me. Suffice it to say that this is another case where the movie doesn’t live up to the book. Save your money and skip this one.
You can also skip the other movie we rented —- Miss Congeniality 2. I’m not really a Sandra Bullock fan to begin with, but the first movie was okay. This one wasn’t.
Next week, I’ve been promised that we can rent Ray, which I am looking forward to.
