I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Breaking Through The Block

by @ 4:45 pm on November 20, 2005.

The blog for the past week or so has probably reflected the fact that I have been, for reasons I don’t know, suffering from complete and total writer’s block. Maybe its because there hasn’t been alot going on in the news that interests me. Maybe its because I’ve been tired, distracted, and busy preparing for the holidays. Who knows. All I know is that its been pretty clear to me that I’ve had very little to say over the past week or so, which is partially the reason I didn’t even both posting on Friday.

I don’t know how other bloggers work, but my basic routine in the morning is to get up and scan through the news and Op-Ed pages for items that interest me. Sometimes, its something that appears on Page A1 of the Washington Post, sometimes its something thats buried on Page A13 of the Washington Times. Beyond that, I check Tech Central Station, Drudge, and Memeorandum and then move on to see what everyone else has been writing about during the night.

Well, I did that pretty much every morning this week and found nothing I felt like writing about.

So I guess I’m asking any other bloggers out there a question — how do you deal with writer’s block ?
