Yep, I’m back and basically rested.
Kellie and I spent the Christmas holiday with her family in the Cleveland, Ohio area and had a great time. We left last Thursday after my office Christmas party and made it to the in-law’s house around 9pm that night. We came back yesterday afternoon. As I remarked to Kellie on the way home yesterday, it was probably the longest amount of time that this group — with the exception of my youngest brother-in-law who was only in town for about 36 hours — had spent together in the past couple years.
Without recounting every single event of the past five days, I will just say that we had an absolutely great Christmas. It was great spending time with everyone, hanging out, and just having fun. Even the weather cooperated. Last year at this time Cleveland was the recipient of a major snow and ice storm that paralyzed a good part of the Eastern US. This year, it was relatively warm and even most of the snow on the ground had melted by Monday morning.
So what did I get for Christmas ? Well, my lovely bride out did herself this year and got me the 60gb Apple Ipod
All in all, a great time was had by all and the only bad thing was that it had to end so quickly.
