I wrote earlier this month, here and here, about a new Firefox extension called Performancing For Firefox which allows you to create blog posts from directly within Firefox. I have been using it almost exclusively since then and have come to like it alot. There has been some flakiness here and there with its integration with Blogger; but, for the most part, it has proven to be a very versitile blog editor.
Well, now they have released an upgrade, Performancing For Firefox 1.1, that looks very interesting.
In addition to bug fixes, the new version has the following new features:
- Increased Technorati support and information
- Delicious Intergration
- Trackback support w/ auto-discovery
- Draft Support
- Ping Support; and,
- Enhancements to the status bar
The feature that has me particularly interested in the trackback support. I’ll be downloading this tonight or this weekend and will report later on how it works.
