That Time Of Year Again

As sure as winter turns to spring, the time for the National Cherry Blossom Festival is fast approaching. And the question everyone wants to know is, when will the blossom’s reach their peak. Well, yesterday they got their prediction — it will be sometime between March 27 and April 1.

If you live in the D.C. area, the Cherry Blossom Festival is something you’ve got to do at least once in your life. Even with the crowds, which, on the weekends, can be overwhelming, its really quite a way to spend a spring day. We went last year on a Saturday during the peak blooming season; if we go this year, it will be early in the morning before the crowds arrive.
