As Tuesday night faded into Wednesday morning, I found myself persuing the iPod and listening once again to one of my favorite live recordings —- Sinatra At The Sands.

Two New Jersey natives, one from Hoboken, the other from Red Bank, together on stage in 1965 at the premier casino in Las Vegas.

If you’re at all inclinced towards jazz or composers like Gershwin and Cole Porter, this is a must-listen. If you’re not, well all I can say is just listen to track # 3, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and tell me why this isn’t this best freaking thing you’ve ever heard.
