I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Well, If Fidel Castro Doesn’t Like It….

That must mean it really was a fabulous thing:

HAVANA — President Fidel Castro called the U.S. airstrike that killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi a “barbarity,” saying he should have been put on trial.

The United States acted as “judge and jury” against the leader of the al-Qaida in Iraq, Castro said late Friday.

“They bragged, they were practically drunk with happiness.”

“The accused cannot just be eliminated,” he told a literacy conference. “This barbarity cannot be done.”

Actually, Fidel, terrorists can be eliminated. We’ve done it a few times and, if there was any justice in the world, there’d be an F-18 headed for Havana right now with two 500 pound bombs with your name on them.

Hat Tip to Don Surber who suggests this is Jimmy Carter’s cue to denounce the al-Zarqawi killing. Sadly, that’s probably exactly what will happen.
