Brad,

We haven't had a drought here.

Thanks largely (heck, principally) to my wife, we've got quite the little garden going. Tomatoes, basil, chives, and jalepeno pepper on the deck along with several flower boxes. And, in the backyard, among other things, we are experminenting with pumpkin.

Our backyard and deck get a ton of sun in the morning and through the early afternoon so frequent water is a must whether there's a drought or not.

We had planted a bunch of things early this year, only to see (we thought) most of them get killed by a late frost. They've been coming back, though, and really starting to look great. I don't have to call myself Mr. Blackthumb any more!

How is the weather up your way? Are you getting drought conditions like us down here in Atlanta?
