With the All-Star break less than a month away, things are looking awfully good for New York baseball fans.
First, the Yankees, despite last night’s 8-4 loss to Cleveland, remain one game ahead of Boston in the AL East.
Second, and perhaps more surprising, the best record in baseball is currently held by the Mets, who have a 9 game lead on Philadelphia in the NL East. The most surprising thing about this, is the fact the Braves, perennial NL East Champions are 13 games behind the Mets and below 500.
While it may be a bit to early to start planning for a rematch of the 2000 World Series, one can dream.

The Jays won last night! Whoohoo!!
Yeah Tribe!!!!!
