Unlikely. Connecticut is heavily Democratic and liberal. 

Besides, from what I&#039;ve read the GOP candidate is pretty weak because nobody wanted to challenge Lieberman. There have even been a few suggestions that the GOP candidate withdraw from the race. That won&#039;t happen, but I think alot of Connecticut Republicans will vote for Lieberman this time because of the circumstances.</description>
