I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

Media Overkill

by @ 1:06 pm on August 20, 2006. Filed under In The News

The JonBenet Ramsey case has been a prime example of media overkill from the beginning, and now that a suspect is under arrest in the case, the obsession is so intensive at the three cable news networks that it feels like we’re back in late 1996 again.

The latest development ? We all know that John Mark Karr is on a plane back to the United States, set to arrive in Los Angeles late this evening. Fox News actually had a reporter/cameraman on the air a few minutes ago who is sitting on the plane a few seats away from Karr and reporting, via Airfone since the plane is somewhere over the Sea of Japan, on what Karr is doing. Currently, he’s watching Mission Impossible 3.

The MSM is going nuts with coverage of the suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey murder. Take this for example.
