Religion is a part of politics, no matter how much Democrats say it is not. I am sure that many, if not most, of our politicians hold their political convictions based on their faith. Even atheism and agnosticism may influence the way a politician votes. For people to say that there is a "seperation of church and state" is simply naive, because a person's faith, I believe, is the most fundamental set of mind that we have, and it may determine many of the decisions we make.
