Light Blogging Notice….And Maybe A Plea For Sympathy

by @ 3:43 pm on September 6, 2006.

Things haven’t exactly been active around here the past few weeks, but that’s not likely to change in the next several days. I’m getting my wisdom teeth —- all of them —- extracted tomorrow afternoon at 2pm and something tells me I won’t exactly be in the mood to blog about much of anything for a few days.

You’ve gotta blog! I want to see if you can be coherent while all hopped-up on painkillers!

Good luck, though… I still have my wisdom teeth, so I’m not sure how bad this is going to be for you, but I’ve heard it’s not pleasant.

    Brad,

I guess I am missing out on the opportunity to live-blog a wisdom tooth extraction, aren’t I ?

As for blogging on painkillers, I can’t imagine its all that different from blogging on cocktails, but I suppose we’ll find out tomorrow won’t we ? ;)

What kinda teeth? I had those taken out when I was 17.

[...] Well, it’s been a little more than 24 hours since the oral surgery ordeal I wrote about yesterday, and things seem to be going surprisingly well. I was sedated for the entire procedure and am therefore blissfully unaware of anything than happened during the entire 45 minute or-so-long ordeal. The pain hasn’t been all that bad, although, the modern miracle of painkillers have helped with that, and I almost feel close to normal at this point. And, the free time has allowed me to finally finish reading Designated Targets……book review to follow, probably tomorrow. Hopefully, the rest of the weekend will go as smoothly as today has.   [link] [...]
