Everyone knew this would be the best college football game of the year, but I don’t think that anyone expected that the two best teams in the country would combine to score 81 points in what has to be one of the best football games I’ve ever seen. In the end, the Buckeyes triumphed and beat Michigan 42-39 !
Fight the team across the field
Show them Ohio’s here,
Set the earth reverberating
With a mighty cheer,
Rah! Rah! Rah!
Hit them hard and see how they fall,
Never let that team get the ball,
Hail, hail, the gang’s all here,
So let’s win that old conference now.“Buckeye Battle Cry”
In old Ohio there’s a team
That’s known throughout the land
Eleven warriors brave and bold,
Whose fame will ever stand.
And when the ball goes over,
Our cheers will reach the sky,
Ohio Field will hear again
The Buckeye Battle Cry!Drive, Drive on down the field,
Men of the scarlet and gray;
Don’t let them through that line,
We’ve got to win this game today,
COME ON OHIO!
Smash through to victory,
We cheer you as you go!
Our honor defend we will fight to the end
for OHIO!
Dare I Say: Jim Tressel = Woody Hayes

[...] Last weekend began with a classic showdown between Ohio State and Michigan, and ended with speculation that the two times might face each other again in the National Championship in January. After last night’s trouncing of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish by USC, that seems far less likely now: LOS ANGELES (AP) — Too much speed, too much defense, and too much Dwayne Jarrett. [...]
