John Edwards To Enter Presidential Race

by @ 4:48 pm on December 16, 2006. Filed under 2008 Election, John Edwards, Politics

It looks like former Senator and Vice-Presidential candidate John Edwards will officially be joining the 2008 Presidential race:

Former Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards intends to enter the 2008 race for the White House, two Democratic officials said Saturday.

Edwards, who represented North Carolina in the Senate for six years, plans to make the campaign announcement late this month from the New Orleans neighborhood hit hardest by Hurricane Katrina last year and slow to recover from the storm.

Yawn.

Glad John Edwards is throwing his hat in the ring. I only voted for Kerry/Edwards because of John Edwards. It is my hope that John Edwards campaign as if his life depends on it. One of the downfalls during the Kerry/Edwards campaign was the fact they didn’t campaign hard enough. I would love to see an Edwards/Clinton team.
