Never believe anyone is the "national champion" unless they've beaten the top SEC team. That said, even a rabid SEC supporter like me was amazed at how thoroughly outplayed Ohio State was. I, too, am puzzled by Ohio State's performance, though not the fan that you are. And the nation's only unbeaten team, Boise State, is merely ranked fifth.
