It took long enough, but the Washington D.C. area is getting its first measurable snowfall of the season. Kellie and I were out in the Haymarket area when it started and the drive home was pretty treacherous given the fact that it looks like the snow started long before VDOT was ready for it.
Should be a fun night.

Until you get to the mountains, VDOT is never prepared for snow.

Try “addthis.com”, instead of that pack of bookmark chicklets….I use it over on our dullessouthonline.com site, works really well. Now, back to the snow-shovelling supervising (4 kids, at probably $2 apiece, should be a bargain!).

Did you rush to the store and buy bread and milk?!?! Feel the mob frenzy overtake you!!!
Yes, maybe I’m jaded from growing up in Chicago, but watching people down here when there’s a threat of snow is more entertaining than anything on TV…

Brad,
I’m happy to say that we didn’t. Kellie is from Ohio and I grew up in New Jersey so we’re both constantly amused at the way people around here react to even the hint of a flurry.
