I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

The BlogAds Blog Readers Poll

I’ve seen several posts in the past day discussing the results of this BlogAds poll of Blog readers which has some interesting results.

For example, of the 36,230 participants in the poll, 72% are men, 62% live in households of 2 or less people, and nearly 80% have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Politically, about 48% identified themselves as Democrats. And, interesting, only 17.94% of participants have their own blog.

Before you read too much into this, keep in mind that this isn’t a scientific poll. The poll was self-selecting., not random. Therefore, I don’t think it’s possible to draw any conclusions from it. Nonetheless, some of the things it reveals about the population who participated are fairly interesting.
