I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

I’ll Believe It When I See It

It may be Sunday, but I know what all the television station’s here in the D.C. area will be talking about on Monday. Apparently, there’s a major snowstorm headed toward the Eastern United States:

(State College, PA) – While any snowfall recently has been light, a storm set to strengthen in the southern Plains will spread a swath of plowable snow from the northern High Plains to the Ohio Valley Monday into Tuesday. The Interior Northeast will then be under the gun for a significant amount of snow for Valentine’s Day, while the Coastal Northeast will see a mix of snow, sleet and rain.

Here’s what the snowfall projection looks like this afternoon:

The D.C. area is just on the southern edge of the greater than 12 inch area. So I can already see the reporters lining up at Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Safeway tomorrow morning watching people buy rock salt, shovels, bread, and milk.

Maybe this will be a big deal Wednesday morning, but I’ll believe it when I see it.
