Oh dear God, I hope so:
GRAFTON CO., NH — Sen. John McCain said his presidential campaign would not meet its fundraising goals this quarter, and his campaign advisers acknowledged that ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney may wind up raising more.
“We’re going to pay a price for it because we got a late start,” McCain told reporters in New Hampshire. “We’re not going to meet the goals we had.” He later said he did not know whether Romney would outpace him, but his advisers did not downplay that possibility. They also did not rule out finishing first.
Things aren’t going so well for McCain right now. He’s falling behind Rudy Giuliani in the polls, and now he’s falling behind Mitt Romney in the race for dollars. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.

I totally agree.
John McCain is clearly fervently disdained by a large swath of conservatives. Rudy’s politics are hated by an even larger swath of conservatives.
The only candidate that can unify the conservative movement and the Republican party, and then go on to beat Billary Clinton’s attempt to re-enter the White House to finish their job of destroying America as we know it, is Mitt Romney.
Go Mitt Go!

The “Straight Talk Express” isn’t talking straight. McCain formed an exploratory committee in December, a month before Romney’s, that allowed him to raise money for a presidential campaign. He didn’t get a late start unless his campaign just sat around for a month or more.
