Joe Torre revealed today that he spoke with George Steinbrenner before the game yesterday and that the owner expressed nothing but support.
Steinbrenner?s son-in-law, Felix Lopez, made an appearance in the clubhouse before the game and met with Torre. His message, I was told, was the same.
Okay. Well, let’s see if that holds true after tonight’s game against the Mets and a three game series this week against Boston.
