Rhodes, left Pittsburgh for NY to head up the syndication of the Merv Griffin Show (and Mike Douglas show as well) in the 60's. My father, Bill (Dusty) Rhodes, a broadcast pioneer in his own right, took us to "many-a" Griffin shows. Merv was always very warm and friendly to us and I'll always remember his hospitality when we visited him and watched his show at the "Little Theatre". Followeb always by a visit to Mr. Vince at Sardis. Merv, my father and uncle preceded you. Here's hoping you get a chance to meet them again and work out fair percentage cuts and billing!
