I will say this, it’s been one hell of a season to be a fan of the New York Yankees.
In the spring and early summer, and pretty much anytime before the All-Star Game, it’s been nothing but doom and gloom.
Since then, it’s like we’re talking about an entirely different team, and it’s as if the rest of the AL East has gone on vacation.
And tonight was no different.
First, the Red Sox lose yet again to the lowly Toronto Blue Jays.
Then, the Yankees beat the Orioles to close within 1 1/2 games of Boston in the AL East.
