No, it’s not a time-warp back to 1994, it’s The People of Nevada v. Orenthal James Simpson:
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) — O.J. Simpson must stand trial on charges that could send him to prison for life, Las Vegas Township Justice of the Peace Joseph Bonaventure ordered Wednesday.
He announced his decision on the fourth and final day of evidentiary hearings in a case stemming from a confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel room.
Simpson’s two co-defendants, Charles Erlich and Clarence Stewart, were also bound over to stand trial.
The former NFL star’s legal team “totally expected” the move, said Yale Galanter, one of Simpson’s attorneys, after the announcement.
“The prosecution’s burden is slight or minimal,” he said.
Simpson, 60, has pleaded not guilty to 12 criminal counts in connection with what prosecutors contend was an armed robbery.
The counts include conspiracy, kidnapping, robbery, burglary, coercion and assault with a deadly weapon.
And this time, no Johnny Cochran.

I DON’T LIKE THE MAN AND NEVER HAD BUT IT SURE LOOKS LIKE THE DA LOADED HIM UP WITH CHARGES TO MAKE IT LOOK A LOT WORSE TO THE PUBLIC AND THE JURY. REALLY NOT IN SPIRIT OF WHAT THE COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED ON. OJ STRIKES ME AS A NOT SO SMART CHARACTER WITH A BAD CASE OF AROGANCE AND NOT MUCH IN THE WAY OF CHARACTER. HIS CHOICE OF COMPANIONS DEMONSTATES HIS LACK OF JUDGEMENT. HE NEEDED SO GUIDANCE A LONG TIME AGO AND I FEEL THAT THERE WERE A LOT OF ENABLERS THAT MAY REALLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROBLEMS HE HAS BROUGHT ON HIMSELF. MAYBE IF THEY TOOK AWAY HIS FINANCIAL CUSHION AND MADE HIM WORK TO SUPPORT HIMSELF THE SHOCK AND HUMILIATION WOULD BETTER SERVE THE ENDS OF JUSTICE AND CREATE A PERSON THAT SOMEONE COULD RESPECT. LUCKLY THIS TIME NO ONE WAS INJURED BUT I WOULD NOT FEEL SORRY FOR THE VICTIMS IN THIS INCIDENT AS THEY MIGHT BE LOWER IN CHARACTER THAN HE IS. HE CAN NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED FOR PAST EVENTS BY THE ( JUSTICE SYSTEM).

I’m not fond of OJ either. But this trial seems like a miscarriage of justice. The guys who set it up, or who pulled the guns all got sweetheart deals so that they can turn on OJ.
I’m a firm believer that everyone should get a fair trial, whether you are a poor man or a hated celebrity. Looks like everyone here wants to make a buck out of OJ: everyone’s involved in the case is salivating for a book deal.
If OJ were just some other black guy, this flimsy case would not be prosecuted with such fervor, or the parties involved would get about the same punishment. The justice system is about fairness and not revenge.
