A Trip To The National Cathedral

One of our favorite places to take out-of-town guests visiting Washington, D.C. for the first time is the Washington National Cathedral. Not so much for the religious aspects of the building as for the magnificent architecture and the sense role that the cathedral has played in American history. We’ve done the trip three or four times now, and I usually forget to take the camera.

Not this time.
