Is Hillary’s Campaign Collapsing ?

by @ 8:39 am on December 3, 2007.

First it was yesterday’s Des Moines Register Poll showing her trailing Barack Obama and barely ahead of John Edwards, now it looks like Hillary Clinton’s lead in New Hampshire has shrunk into the single digits:

In New Hampshire, home to the first-in-the-nation Presidential Primary, Hillary Clinton’s lead over Barack Obama is now measured in single digits.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone poll of the state’s Likely Primary Voters shows Clinton with 33% of the vote while Obama attracts 26%. John Edwards is the top choice for 15% while Bill Richardson earns 9% of the vote. Joe Biden and Dennis Kucinich are each preferred by 4%.

Clinton’s seven-point advantage is down from a ten-point lead in early November. In October, Clinton held a sixteen-point advantage over Obama. A month earlier, Clinton was ahead by twenty-three percentage points.

With a month to go before the action starts, there’s still more than enough time for Hillary to pull a come-back act like her husband did back in 1992, but this isn’t 1992 and the extent to which Democrats are turning against her makes it seem like they are looking for someone, anyone other than her to support in 2008.

None of the “top” five candidates of the Democrat Party are even minimally acceptable to the rest of the country. Many are already talking about where they will go when the Democrat-led Civil War starts.

Seriously, no one right of Joe Lieberman (the top five are all fascists with a small “F”) should be allowed to roam the streets, much less run for office.

    That is moderate.
