After being canceled in May and coming back from the dead a month later, the shortened second season of Jericho will return to CBS on February 12th:
CBS has announced a return date for “Jericho.”
The apocalyptic series, which was canceled by the network last spring but revived by a fan campaign, will return with seven new episodes Feb. 12.
This is good news for two reasons. First of all, it’s good to see the show back at all. Second, even if the writer’s strike is settled there won’t be a lot of original non-reality programming available in February; hopefully meaning that CBS will promote the hell out of the show and people will give it a second chance.

Nuts!…
Well, my day was made today. There were many of us disappointed when Jericho met an untimely demise after CBS decided not to renew it for a second season back early this summer. This following a season where several shows thought it’d be a go…

THANK YOU for supporting JERICHO!
Please keep passing the word…..we need all the viewers we can get….especially NIELSEN families.
CBS gave us our show back but in order for us to get another season, the show has to have better numbers.
I promise you all that you will NOT regret watching this show. It is exciting and different and it has heart and romance. Oh…..it’s about a small town that is trying to survive without food, electricity, etc. after several nuclear bombs go off in major cities across the U.S.
It has me sitting on the edge of my chair each week and the hour goes by so fast. Then I can’t wait until the next episode.
Please give it a try on Tues. Feb. 12th at 10 p.m. EST.
I KNOW you will love it. We’ll have 8 all new episodes to enjoy.
Thanks so much and pass the word!!
P.S. You can catch up on the first season free on CBS.com or buy the video and share it with friends and family.
