It’s time to take the annual holiday hiatus again. I’d like to say regular blogging will resume after January 1st, but given the fact that we’re two weeks away from a the beginning of what will undoubtably be a very interesting political year, I doubt that will be the case.

I note with interest your Countdown column to the left side of the page. How many Days until Terror Event II? The long-promised (by The High Chancellor himself, Richard “The Draft Dodger” Cheney”) follow-up by, of course, who else, al-Qaeda, that will leave a couple thosand dead Americans and the perfect excuse The Regime needs to cancel the 2008 Elections? All those “Countdown” Calendars and Bumperstickers marking Jan 20, 2009 as “Bush’s Last Day” are so touchingly sophomoronic. Or are they just moronic?
