Obama Leaves Hillary In The Dust

by @ 12:40 pm on January 7, 2008.

The last New Hampshire polls are coming out, and they continue to show Barack Obama enjoying a double digit lead:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshire, released Monday morning, shows Barack Obama continuing to enjoy a double digit lead in New Hampshire. Obama earns 38% of the vote, ten points more than Hillary Clinton who earns 28%. The survey was conducted on Saturday and Sunday and shows little change from the results reported yesterday and Saturday.

Clinton and Obama are essentially even among Democrats but the Illinois Senator enjoys a more than 2-to-1 advantage among Independent voters likely to vote in the Democratic Primary.

And Obama’s win in Iowa and surge in New Hampshire are starting to show up elsewhere:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that Hillary Clinton’s national polling lead has collapsed. Before the Iowa caucuses, Clinton held a seventeen-point lead over Barack Obama. Today, that lead is down to four percentage points in a survey with a four-point margin of sampling error.

In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, it’s now Clinton 33%, Barack Obama 29% and John Edwards 20%

After New Hampshire, we’ll start seeing polls from places like Michigan, South Carolina, and Florida, none of which have really been polled since before Christmas. I suspect that the much-vaunted Clinton leads in those states will have disappeared.

The reason Karl Rove left the White House early, was to spend all his efforts and reconnect all the money and connections to put his Party’s worst nightmare out of business,Hillary Clinton.People who really know fact from fiction, know the new Clinton administration is the only sure bet for future success. But with today’s media and Rove’s control over much of it,Barack is in the driver’s seat,as Rove predicted. Duping America again.
