McCain Leads Clinton And Obama In Virginia

Rasmussen is reporting that John McCain would beat both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in a General Election matchup in Virginia:

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Virginia voters shows Senator John McCain enjoying advantages over both Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. McCain leads Clinton 49% to 38% and Obama 45% to 43%. Governor Mitt Romney does not fair quite as well. He finds himself with a statistically insignificant lead over Clinton (44% to 43%) and six points behind Obama (47% to 41%).

Whether this will play into the Republican Primary remains to be seen.

John McCain will not beat any democrat. He has more baggage than a 747 flight. I am a conservative, and definately one of those that will either sit out the general if he wins the nomination, or I will write in a true conservative- Fred Thompson. I may even write in Mickey Mouse. I guess Fred Thompson was alot smarter than any would have given him credit for. Who would want to be president of a bunch of uneducated voters that are too lazy to do some research.
