It’s bad enough when people show up to vote a week early, it’s even worse when they show up a week late:
Millions of Americans in 24 states are turning out vote to in Super Tuesday presidential primaries from Georgia to Alaska today. Meanwhile, some dedicated if confused Florida voters are trying to, as well.
Elections offices across the state are reporting hundreds of calls from voters wanting to know where they can vote today. The answer is that Florida already had its presidential primary — last week.
“We’ve had over 100 calls at least over the last two days,” said Kathy Adams, a spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Election Supervisor.
But wait, it gets better:
Closer to home, Orange County elections officials say they are dealing with a combination of confused voters from Florida and California.
“One of my staffers has figured it out,” said Orange County Election Supervisor Bill Cowles. “They are California voters going online and looking for the Orange County [California] election office and calling us instead.”
Meanwhile, back in Florida:
One University of Central Florida political science professor speculates today’s confusion may reflect greater voter interest in this year’s presidential race.
“There is a fairly large part of the public that doesn’t pay much attention to politics,” said Aubrey Jewett. “I supposed all the hype and talk about Super Tuesday finally convinced them to come out to vote.”
Jewett said he isn’t surprised by the confusion.
“Hopefully they will pay more attention to the process and will be ready to vote the first Tuesday in November, and not the second Tuesday,” he said.
Yeah, but they’ll probably get the year wrong.

These are the same people that are so propagandized and dumbded down by the liberal media that they are running out to vote for McCain the liberal. They don’t know there is no difference between him and the liberals. Heard Soros is back in the weeds behind McCain’s financing for his campaign. He is running a really dirty, nasty campaign. I still think that he was behind the leaked article that came out just 1 day before the Iowa Caucus that stated Fred Thompson was dropping out and endorsing McCain. As Thompson said it cost him 2 to 3 points in the contest. McCain is so desperate to get the nomination he would go against his “friend” Fred Thompson. Thompson rightfully backed out of the “back stabbing, lying and do anything power grab”. His conservatism, statesmanship, intellect and federalist positions will show up where he is needed. I would love to see him actively involved in The Heritage Foundation.

Doug: I don’t know what the positions are of a liberatarian. Do liberatarians believe in a strong military and defense spending budget to keep our country strong and can defend out country? Even our porous borders?
