		<description>Yeah, George&#039;s frequent references to Jefferson have always bothered me, too (and I&#039;ve known him for more than 15 years, since his race for Congress), but I&#039;ve always chalked it up to and/or excused it as the lingering effects of too much time at UVa, and something meant to appeal to the masses of Virginians who revere Jefferson, notwithstanding some of the less admirable things for which he stood.

Much better that George had learned that most of what he stands for is actually attributable to Madison, but that would have taken a Hampden-Sydney education, and then, we probably never would have heard of George Allen.</description>
