Ron Paul Loses An Advisor To John McCain

by @ 3:23 pm on February 7, 2008. Filed under 2008 Election, Politics, Ron Paul

Two weeks ago, the Paul campaign gained the support of businessman, pundit, and National Review columnist Donald Luskin, who had been a frequent support of Paul’s economic views on television.

Today, Luskin left Paul’s campaign and formally endorsed John McCain.

It’s over folks.

  1. Eric Dondero says:

Wow! This is a huge blow to Paul.

Also, RLC National Chair Bill Westmiller just said that Paul’s campaign is at the “beginning of the end.”

  2. Michael Molinos says:

Yeah, a “huge blow.” I’ve never even heard of this Luskin guy. Makes no difference to me. And is it a surprise that a Bush-picked GOP bigwig pooh poohs Ron Paul? I don’t think Paul is going to win the nomination but be careful how disdainful you are toward him and his supporters. The disdainful of today may be the whiners of tomorrow after Paul runs on a third-party ticket and “takes” votes away from John McLame.

  3. Cedric says:

… wow, what a jealous little bitch you are, dondero. How many blogs have you left comments on in the past 5 hours? You need to get laid.

This Dondero guy seems to have a personal problem with RP. What’s up with that. He has put in a lot of hours over the past few weeks. Must be bookoo anger built up to motivate him this much. As for Luskin,it’s sad how Americans are so willing to give up what they really believe in to be on the winning side. I am not so encumbered and will write in Pauls name whether he’s on the ballot or not.

  5. Well, this is some personal issue there.

But, you know, he turned out to be right about Paul.
