Below The Beltway

I believe in the free speech that liberals used to believe in, the economic freedom that conservatives used to believe in, and the personal freedom that America used to believe in.

The Irrational Huckabee

by @ 3:49 pm on February 11, 2008.

During his CPAC speech on Saturday, Mike Huckabee made this remark:

The pundits say the math doesn’t work out. Well, folks, I didn’t major in math. I majored in miracles.

Well, that’s well and good Governor, but facts are what really matter and if you’re telling that you’re comfortable with ignoring facts and going on “faith” alone, then I cannot understand why any sane, rational person would vote for you.

As many of us realize, we now live in a time where the election proccess is never ending. The current election started over a year ago and the next will begin in november.
The opritunity to here the message of gov Huckabee will be short lived, but the impact will change the GOP like no one yet realizes.
I was attracted to the Reagan message in 1980 and regisered as a republican on my 18th bday 1986. In every election since I have voted for a republican.
Over this time as I have matured I see clearly the good cop bad cop drama that plays out in every election cycle. Other Goverments see this as well and are doing a better job of learning how to deal with this keep away stratigy as the dems. and reps. toss the ball back and forth. Our enemies see this as well and I predict that within the first year of the next administration,” who ever it is” while new cabinet appointees are getting thier leggs beneath them another attack in the U.S. will occur stricking us when we are in our weakest posture.
A new day has dawned and I will change my registered statis this year to independant………….GO MIKE!
